The rear brake hose is secured to the swinging arm via a clip screwed to the arm with torx screws. Between the hose and clip is a rubber bushing,
Unfortunately it seems that I cannot undo the torx screws to release the clip and hence remove the hose.

Has anyone found a way to extract the hose without taking the clip off?

Obviously I can cut the hose and pull the old/worn hose out from either side, however I need to install a new hose that has connectors at both ends.

Best. Take care out there.

As a reply to my own post, I figured/strained it out.
The clip to the swinging arm is held on side only. By removing the back wheel and gaining my access to the clip I was able to push the rubber bushing up and out of the clip. With the bushing removed there is enough flex in the clip the slip the brake hose out sideways.

As a footnote. The hose had some damage and failed its MOT. But what should/could have been a short "Bleed brakes + Remove/Replace hose + Refill and bleed", has turned into a mere as the bleed valve has sheared off. WAPITA
