This is a legitimate post by a vendor in the proper area. People do loan their bikes to vendors for accessory design and it is common practice for the vendor to give those accessories to the bike owner in return.

What I was trying to say though was that by it's very definition, a "Vendors" section would be specifically for posting "spam" wouldn't it?

If you're going to have a section for vendors to mention their products, that's what you can expect.

It was the same on the old board wasn't it?

AJ,

I tend to agree with you on that! As a vendor, this is exactly what I have done on other forums. I have a product to sell and I want to direct it at the right market. I haven't had any probs or been called a spammer as yet! How else would I push my business to overseas markets?

Had you not done that, I would not have two great seat covers. By the way, you need to post here in this new forum.

I really don't mind it at all as long as it is related to Triumphs or motorcycling in general (products that we all might be interested in).

I might just see something that I've always wanted finally being sold.

...and a vendor that needs different models of bikes to "borrow" for sizing and fitment of a product really has no other way to try and find a bike to use.

Is this thread a deja vu thing, or did I not post a reply to this conversation on the old forum?

Wierd...

Anyway, even new potential vendors should have the courtesy to come aboard, get into the conversation, then offer thier wares.

Just foum ettiquite, across the spectrum.
