Wow I did not know you guys also get tornado's I did know you get the cyclone and a lot of flooding.

If you live north of me you get eaten by crocks of blown away in storms.
If you live south of me you get buried in snow.
The only place to live in Australia is that 1 mile radius around me. :y15:

Ya gotta laugh!

Putting my serious hat back on.
It's 12.00 midday and the radio weather man just said he was watching a once in a career flood developing on Queensland's east coast. SAD
We're a good 12 hours drive to the southern Qld border and are receiving steady rain, OK for us, not so good for our friends up north.

I am OK , Both my kids and there family's live in Bundaberg
Surrounded by doom and gloom but at this stage OK
I am high and dry and the bikes fine :y2:

How about you Kev
I hear its heading down your way.:y7:

Yes but only good heavy rain, I can't see any problems coming from it.
Just took this (6.05pm), the pool's a brimmer and the grass is soggy.
Over behind the trees is a creek that will probably go over the bank and get close to my back fence. If it happens and not too dark I'll post a shot.

well I'm hoping you dont need to post a shot

She'll be apples.
Just grabbed this from across the creek looking back to my green fence, still a long way to go before my back yard.

For contrast, this is along my rear fence (park side), notice the dark green line that I've been watering next to the drought affected browning off stuff. I had to start watering about 3 weeks ago, notice the young cabbage palms were starting to die.

Great video! If the crocodiles aren't scary enough up here the road users certainly keep you on your toes. Something about the tropics.....just fries the brain.

All good up my way. We dodged the bullet with only 300 mm of rain in two days. Tossed it south to Kevin however it bounced off the 1 km exclusion zone and headed for sea.:y15:
