Postbits Collapse - Do You Want It Back

As you guys remember we had the option to expand and collapse our postbits on our old forum software. Is this something you would also want here? This is about the only thing still outstanding from what our old software did.

So in the default it would look something like this

When you click the option to expand it he full postbiks will be seen

I like the expanded version mainly for the local time and Location (city) for the member. These two items seem to help when asking a question, you will know if it's 0200 at the other members location then you can expect bit of delay before seeing a reply. So I voted no for this reason.

Yes those items of info are very useful seeing we all sit in different countries and time zones

I like the expanded version too.

Remember you will just have a small button in the postbits to expand them to the full view as we had before. So with one click you will see the full postbits

Looking at this more closely, and comparing only with the example given with what we have now, don't we have more info with what we have now? It looks that way to me.
If that's right, why change?

The amount of info will remain the same but you will just not see it all until you expand it on that members postbits. So you would infact see more post information on a screen before having to scroll down.

So if we look at your post above with it collapsed you will then see it like this cutting out all the unused space below.

Another good thing about having it like this we could add more information to the postbits if we wanted to without it really becoming to long in the post view

So it looks like this feature is wanted so we will ask @Snog to possibly place it back on his to do list . This will most likerly be the last enhancement that we will be doing on the new software as we should now be in a place where we have all the old software features plus
