Just read a pretty interesting article / trip report in the Dallas Morning News by Christopher Wienandt giving a nod to TWTEX and the pie runs.

If you are ever in Natchitoches, LA I strongly suggest you follow the writer's recommendation for a Meat Pie and Dirty Rice, that there is what meals are made of. I won't say I've never tasted better but these he talks about are good enough to make a rabbit hug a hound. And the pickled green 'maters will about make your tongue think it's done died and gone to Heaven.

I've since found out the writer/reporter is a member of Two Wheeled Texans. Regardless of the riders connection I agree it's good to get good press about gatherings of bikers.
