Petrol price

Well I went and filled my one car up today it was sitting on half. Any way while the petrol attendant was filling it up I just noticed something for the first time. The price of petrol is now so high that the petrol pump cannot calculate that high. So what they have done is divided it by 10 and place a X10 next to the display price on the pump.

Went I looked at the price the first time I did not see the X10 so it showed R26 SA Rand so I was actually quite excited until it struck me it was actually R260 SA Rand

Yeah, I don't think they even considered it going over 9.99.
Kinda like the y2k bug. Bwahahahahaha

Yesterday a friend and i went for a ride. Cost me $30 in gas !!!! Riding has now become a rich person's recreation. For those in africa or anywhere that the dollar is not used, $30 would be equivalent to what a set of brake pads for front or back on the twins cost, or about what i paid for the haynes manual. If it keeps going up i think we're gonna start seeing electric and other non gas powered bikes.

Feel the pain. Filled up my car this morning and it cost me R552.07. Huh??? It's getting bloody rediculous. Because we are two riders, our last bike trip cost more on petrol than it did on accomodation. Have decided that after my sons wedding is done and dusted (paid for), we're going to buy a scooter just to commute to work and back and leave the cars at the office for business. I don't care if we ride 2 up on a scoot.

Petrol cost me loads every month, my new job is a lot further then my previous job!!!!
