On the road again........

...............but not on a bike this time.
My wife and I are leaving in the morning for 10-12 days to visit my mother in Toronto and then swing south through Niagara Falls and across the USA to do some shopping on the way home.
My mother is a spry 92 and in amazing physical and mental condition for her age. She looks 20 years younger and lives with my widowed sister. She's in good hands, but at 92 I need to make the effort to see her.

Oh wow Rocky!! You were going to be in my neck of the woods when you crossed the border at Niagara Falls. You may well be doing your shopping where my Wife used to work only a couple years ago at the factory outlets. There are tons of Canadians who take bus trips there since we have no tax on clothing in Pennsylvania and it's just a short ride South.

The "Falls" were spectacular as always.
At 92 I'm amazed at the energy my mother has and the way she gets around so easily belying her age. She jumps in and out of cars just like a young sprout while my poor wife gets in and out like she's 100 and has to be helped and use a cane.
Mother has very few failings for her age and I am so thankful for the good life she has. I can only hope that bodes well for me. It seems to be working so far :ya2:

No, we didn't dip down into Pennsylvana. We more or less went west to east from Niagara Falls to Portland, Maine and then north.
