Hi all.
So, I'm previously a member of the "Classic Meriden" brigade ( having owned/built my T140D flat-track special since 1986) but that's now gone to a new home, as of yesterday.
In its place (and I've previously owned an '03 Daytona 955i) has landed an '03 Daytona with some Speed Triple treatment! I'ts been very nicely built by an older guy who knows what he's doing (though has a few electrical woes which I hope - fingers crossed! - will be sorted with a new battery tomorrow).
There are a few details that I'm changing asap (nasty cheap streetfighter headlight/bit of plastic tat and mis-matched indicators) but overall the bike is very, very close to how I'd have built it myself.
I'm going to hold back posting pics of it until I've sorted those few details, but happy to rejoin the more "modern" crew on here to share knowledge and biking thoughts.
