I agree with you. I HAVE to be able to ride year round. I don't usually start out in the wet; but I do get caught in rain plenty of times, especially on a long road trip. I can do wet and I can do cold (cold = temps slightly above freezing); but I do not do wet and cold. That is about as cold as I will ride in. And only then if it is going to warm up into the 40's later in the day.
