Not so bad on a bike of course. Indeed, there's something satisfying going to the front of a jam, blasting away from traffic lights.
I still avoid rush hours because not always easy overtaking. Only do pleasure rides at weekends.
Half the problem is selfish dim-witted drivers blocking roundabouts and junctions, nudging out and stuck when lights go red, blocking other dim-witted drivers who then also nudge out blocking in turn as their lane is supposed to be stopped behind a red light.
Gave two courier drivers this week chatting across vehicles, windows down, blocking road, then expecting me to reverse uphill with a pillion (thick or what?) the sweet sound of peashooters redlining on a 50 year-old Triumph. No charge.
