New York City got over a foot of snow this week. This video shows the level of stupidity it takes to get a job working there (and to think they get paid like $80,000 a year!):

Not only do the taxpayers pay them, but the tax payers have to foot the bill to pay for this (and other screwups). If their pay got docked, they would be a bit more careful.

Dave, I was a public employee for 6.5 years. I guarantee you that employees like that do not survive in the county I worked for. Union or no union, they would be gone.

The New York Daily News says that the Ford that got damaged actually belonged to the New York Housing Authority. So it was a city vehicle...which means that the city (read: TAXPAYERS) will pay for all the damages.

This "news" story is all over our TV and we're all having a good laugh over it as are the news people.

Those workers may not be good at clearing streets; but they were surely able to clear Yankee Stadium of snow for a football game. :ya2:

Which proves that these union guys are getting fat doing a lousy job while those who work for a private entity like the stadium actually earn their wages.
