November 11th, Remembrance Day, Lest We Forget

Sometimes called Poppy Day, it will be Remembrance Day throughout the Commonwealth, but observed in other ways and names in other countries.
WWI was the war to end all wars....boy, did they get that one wrong!!
To all our fallen countrymen in foreign wars, and to all our fallen allies

Between the crosses, row on row,

We are the Dead. Short days ago

Living in the day and age we now do I just don't think we can comprehend what these young folks had to go through during this horrific war, so let us take a few moments to rememebr all those that were affected by it.

I was with My Dad on this somber day. Remembering all those who had fallen in our battles against oppression and tyranny. There were a few vets there from the Korean War and others from some of the more recent conflicts around the globe.
It is very important that we remember our fallen Comrades and Brothers in Arms, so that history mat NOT repeat itself.
