Hi everyone, it's been a while since my last post! Life over the past 3 years sort of took over.
I had a heart attack at the beginning of covid lockdown in 2020, and had an emergency double heart bypass.
The surgery went fine, but it left me with atrial fibrillation where my heart just races for no apparent reason. They tried to sort it with medication but to no avail. Fast forward to 2021, and I had a cardioversion, where the heart is stopped and then restarted by electric shock to re-set the rythm. This worked fine for about 3 months then the problem returned with a vengeance! So 2022 I had the same procedure again with the same result with the problem returning after about 3 months. So 4 weeks ago I was in the operating theatre again having a catheter ablation where the inside of the heart is zapped with a laser to prevent it mis-firing! I feel great now and my surgeon says it was100% successful. So I am now back on the bikes and looking forward to getting out and about again. These are my Triumph's, both slightly modified.
