Interest, yes. The engine is one of the cleanest around.

Desire? no, thanx. I prefer the Commando or Ranger.

This was an early example of bodywork enclosures that soon disappeared for 20 years. Too bad, I like "naked" bikes much better than enclosed ones.

Lots of people believe the Nortons of 750cc & 850cc displacement are more than the bottom end (especially the crank) was ever designed for. I disagree, but they have interesting arguments.

Paul I must agree with you the back end really does not seem to fit into what I see Norton as being

It took me a LONG time to even consider the look of a Fastback, but I've been worn down over the years by some truly beautiful examples and can now look at one with a nominal level of admiration. This one has deep styling ques that remained as vestigial hints on the Fastback.

I, too, agree with Paul. The Dominator never appealed to me; I prefer naked bikes - still.
