They had a special on New Zealand last night on the travel channel. I really enjoyed watching this one what a stunning country you guys have. Had a lot on the cultural side that was very interesting as well :y115:

the damage was very localised to the canterbury area
I did wake up, but up here it was just a gentle rocking of the bed.

While I was moaning about the fairly minor damage Earl did here those folks in Christchurch really got socked.
I too have seen documentaries (including a bike tour) about New Zealand and was enthralled by the place.
