Hello all other Tiger 800 enthusiasts! I am back to riding after a very long break. Was on a KLR 650 but am now eyeing a 2018 Tiger 800 XCa(more questions in forum). Along with everything else the bike seems to have going for it you just have to love the name. I mean really....Tiger, it's awesome. Most of my riding is on road but some is on gravel, don't have much interest in dirt. I just like to go an a nice days or weekend ride and dream of hooking up with other riders for some weekend or longer trips. Happy riding and hope to see you on the road on my new(to me) Tiger.

Welcome to TT from Eastern Canada as well.
The Tigers are great all around bikes.
I switched to mine for the more varied terrain that these bikes can do and the more upright riding position.
Enjoy the forum.

I fixed my 'number of years riding' finally as I wasn't able to do it when registering. It wasn't totally a false statement 'been riding for 42 years'. Took my Honda CB750K across country, up and down W. coast (and to Port Hardy on Vancouver Is., B.C., very wet ride). Then life happened and haven't been back on a bike until I stopped working in '19. The KLR650 was a great bike but the vibration on my hands when roading was a deal breaker and sold it this spring.
So now just need to replace my truck (as deemed a prerequisite by the finance committee) and I'll go snag that '18 Tiger.
