Hey all,

Wanted to say hi and introduce myself. My name is Rick and I live in Phoenixville, PA. I am a 45 year old father of three (1 angel). I started riding about a year ago simply as a way to clear my head. I started out, as most of my friends have, on a Honda Shadow 750. I quickly decided I need more power and style. I picked up an '18 Bonneville Speedmaster last week in NC. I've been trying to ride every day and have a few planned rides coming up.

I'm looking forward to learning more about Triumph bikes and am always looking for new ideas to make my ride more enjoyable.

See you out there.

Rick

Thanks guys. The three best bits of advice I've gotten so far are
1. Always ride like a car can get you at any time
2. The clutch is your friend
3. Look where you're turning

These have served me well so far. Look forward to many more rides. I've had a great time so far.

Good stuff TUP
It's also very important to be seen. Try and avoid the all-black look in your riding gear; jacket, pants, helmet.
A bright colored helmet and jacket does wonders for visibility to others.
In traffic, scan left and right and watch your mirrors.
Head for the country roads and enjoy the bike TUP

Welcome to TT from Southeast Texas.

The best riding advice I can give you is. . .
1. ALL cars are out to kill you
2. If a car has his left blinker on, they are telling you they are going to kill you
3. If a car doesn't have his left blinker on, they are tell you a lie, they want to turn left in front of you and kill you
4. Keep your head on a swivel
5. The throttle is your best friend
6. Fill the tank and ride
7. Repeat #6 repeatedly
8. Enjoy your ride
9. Repeat "6
10. In case I haven't said it before, repeat #6 often
