Hey Brett, welcome to the forum. You have a nice bike there and some very nice roads to ride in your area. I assume that you have a ride planned for the Eastern Transvaal at some sage.

Haha, it's been a long time since we called it Traanvaal, but yeah I have been heading out and exploring the province as much as a can. Have also taken it as far as KZN, Eastern Cape and Freestate. Amazing riding to be done here in SA.

I sure hope we will see a few ride reports from those areas then BBEER

Hello,
My name is Piotr, I am glad that I've joined to you. I've bought my Speed Triple 4 years ago (I still think this is absolutely amazing bike) but I've been riding for 20 years. I hope my technician experience will be helpful for everyone and sometimes You will help to solved my problems. I wish you wonderful and safe season.

Hi there and welcome to TT nice bike and very nice country side BBEER ... you could be riding on any of the islands around scotland in that first pic !! .. very similar country apart from its probably very warm there and very cold here :ice:

Thanks a lot. The pic was taken on a trip I did in KZN province near Durban. While there I was thinking the same, that it felt like we were riding in Scotland or elsewhere in UK. The rest of S.A. is not like that at all so fairly unique. Normally it is quite hot but can drop below 0 in winter and even snow in the mountains. But I'm sure not nearly as cold as Scotland.

Would love to do a rude in Scotland one day.
