Greetings from sunny North Texas. I recall a motorcycle display at Union Station in Kansas City I went to that had a 1970 Bonneville that looked factory fresh. The display placard that was on it said the bike was purchased in a "chopped" condition and after years of parts sourcing and a "river of cash" it was restored to factory specs. With all such projects start with how much nest egg you're willing to donate until you're done.....

70 is a good year.

last year for the classic dry frame, which was the end of an era. recent enough to be using SAE fasteners instead of whitworth, BS, and CEI. has the upgraded old-style TLS front brake.

was there one for sale you were thinking of?
