New Member Tiger Owner

Hi Just a quick intro, I'm 56 ride a Tiger 800xc in white, which i've had from new, still love it as its my first big bike. I try to do as much as possible to my bike, but do still get it serviced yearly. I don't do alot of miles as i'm close enough to work to cycle on good days, by the time i've moved a car got the bike out gear on i'm already at work. Don't have any biking friends and don't tour.
Do though still love the bike, although I do find myself looking at others Honda 800 VFR, Triumph ST 1050, and Royal Enfield Interceptor

Oh and live in Cornwall, lovely place with great rides on the coastal roads.

Hi there and welcome to TT ... snap on the age and bike and yes there a bike that you tend to keep because there so good at everything , but you allways have a look at other stuff but always go back to the tiger

I looked at the Tiger 800's because I liked the sound and smoothness of the triple engine. I found a good deal on its uncle, a 1995 Thunderbird, and couldn't be happier.

These are great all around bikes and really enjoy mine as well. I have the BIG brother to the 800 as I ride two up fairly often and preferred the comfort of the 1200 over the 800.
