Good morning from Greenwich South East London, I discovered this group when I was looking for information on Lucas PRS8 light/ignition switches and saw forum member Kashif's greatarticle on rebuilding a PRS8. I started riding bikes when I was 16 (1966) on a 125 Capriolo, I also passed my bike test that year on a BSA bantam 125, then in fairly quick succesion owned several BSA gold flashes 650, one with a double adult sidecar. In the late 60s in London older bikes were very cheap to buy as people with families were moving on to four wheels. I also had a Matchless G3, Ariel arrow, ex-army BSA M20 which was a freeby followed by several MZ 250s and a Suzuki GS 500. I now have a 1964 Triumph 5TA 500 and a 1957 Triumph Tiger Cub 200 both are on the road and very enjoyable to ride. Although I must admit I enjoy working on the bikes modifying etc almost as much as riding them.

Post your questions in the classics section where more members will see it.

Thanks for your welcome Rocky classics are my real interest although I like all bikes and moto GP, I’m looking forward to learning from others experience and adding mine where it may be helpful

Welcome to TT from Eastern Canada.
Sounds like you have you're hands full with your vintage bikes both past and present.
Glad you found us and enjoy your rides.

Thanks for your welcome from Eastern Canada, when I started biking in the 60s it was great buying bikes such as the Capriolo 125 for £15 and the BSA with sidecar for £20 as I had very little money. This ensured I learned how to fix things to keep them working and it has served me well over the years.
