Hello everyone,

Just joined and thought I'd say hi. I'm originally from Leicestershire (Hinckley area), now living in Berkshire. Recently bought my first Triumph - a 2015 Bonneville Newchurch. She's lovely but giving me a couple of headaches at the moment, which I'm hoping can be sorted by the dealer

Welcome to the fold from Eastern Canada.
Hope you get your issues fixed promptly and get out riding.
May be where it was sitting in the dealership for so long, things are gummed up in the fuel system. Get it cleaned by them and let us know how it goes.

Where abouts in Lincs are you Garry? My mum has lived in Horncastle, Wellingore and is now in Nocton. Other family are in Sutton-on-Sea and Mablethorpe. I love Lincolnshire.

Bike issue is a starting problem. It died on me at the lights on Saturday - everything went off completely. Changed the battery as it has been stood a while and life returned, but still won't start. Got dash lights and fuel pump but nothing else, not even a click. Alarm is playing up too (Datatool), which I suspect may be related to the battery. Dealer is picking it up Tuesday and I'm having them remove the alarm while they fix things.

I'm glad you said Bulldog are good - that's where my bike is going. Have been in there to look at bikes and chatted with some of them. Seem a nice bunch and have been very helpful so far with my issues. Just hope they can sort it

Great will be interested in your feedback as may be buying my next Triumph from them, does sound like battery issues, bon chance and wait to hear!!

Thanks for all welcomes people - I'm feeling the love!

Bike is all fixed and back home. Local dealer, Bulldog Triumph, were brilliant. Came and picked it up and removed the alarm - that turned out to be the culprit for the starting issues. They charged me for picking up the bike (£36) as it wasn't an issue covered by the warranty, but they didn't charge for removing the alarm. Great service and very friendly and helpful people.

I'm a happy cupcake today!
:)
