If I didn't already have an Indian Chief, I wouldn't have been in the market for one either. I just wanted a little "fun bike", and I'm thinking the Bobber will fit that definition. I'll take it on short runs, but I'll save the long trips for the Indian.

You're going to like that Bobber a lot. I know, I do mine. Break her in nice and easy and you'll have a nice tight broken in motor. That once it's broken in, it will really surprise the dickens out of you. Mine did. I was coming back from a nice long ride and I coming home. When I went to pass this car, I gave her just a little gas and she shot out like a rocket. She did the same thing to this HD, that I wrote about. With just a little twist of the throttle, plus they handle so well too. Enjoy your new baby and welcome to the forum. I know I'm late, but better late, than never.

I love my Bobber Black. Just past 1k with the riding season ending here in PA. I can attest to how quick it'll respond. Like Snake said, just a blip of the throttle and she digs in and goes.

When the weather gets good again up there in PA. You'll be jonesing to get on that bike and nothing is going to make that itch go away, like a good ride. I live in Northern Ca. So, I've still got a few months left, until it starts to rain and snow. Then, it's all about really cleaning her up and getting her spotless. I'm definitely going to put some forward controls on her this year or crash bars, with highway pegs. The bike is very comfortable anyway. But I'm 6ft4 and on those long rides, I'm thinking that those forward controls, would come in real handy, for stretching out on those long cruse's, a little easier. Otherwise, I'm very happy with my Bobber and I really love It, Especially, when I'm out just riding in the lower foothills, It's a blast.

I was looking into a set of higher handlebars for it but the 8 inchers from Triumph seem too high. Biltwell has a nice 5 inch one called the keystone. I really like the look of that one. Gotta research it more.
