Well, after a lot of planning and figuring out how to construct a bike lift, I finally have one. It's not actually "new" but it is new to me. A local custom shop in town purchased a new bench (3rd) and put this shop-made bench out for collection! So I collected it. The owner and builder even gave me a hand to load onto my trailer.I think he took pity on me when I told him I mess around with vintage bikes.
It needs a little tidying up and it's good. It is heavier built than what I was contemplating but this will also accommodate my '85 Gold Wing. It will be much easier now when the 'Bonnie project gets under way again. i just realized I haven't posted any pics in this forum, so when i figure out how to do that, I'll show a pic of the lift. cheers cooter
