I know a few of the area BACA riders. Some of them are all behind the cause and will do anything for the kids. But I know several that are not about the cause, all they want to be is patched club members and pick fights. They aren't about protecting the child, they just want to intimidate the ones (even the innocent ones) around the kids and get under one's skin enough to incite a fight.
I hate to say it, but a few bad apples are ruining their image in my eyes.

Awesome and good to see. There should be a chapter in every county.
I planned on going on the hundred mile ride this year from our local chapter but I bailed for fear of rain. I even placed the event on the board calendar on May 17th. Turned out to be a decent weather day. Very sorry I missed it.

Dave i agree, the sorry ones will only ruin the good ones, in many ways.
After a bit of research I found an "organizational meeting" coming up July 27th in Mobile. Seems there are chapters of this organization in North Al. but none in the Southern Part.
Child abuse is one of the few things that will make my blood boil. And if I can do but a little part to help fight it, I am in.
