2012 Se, 20k miles, ais removed, sleeper pro slipons, arrow 2 into 2 map from the dealer. Stock air filter with snorkel removed. Tried a hi flo filter with no change.
I have been having a bad surge in the bike from 3k-3500rpms since the pipes and map were installed. Adaptaions were reset and the bike ran fine for 20-30 miles then started surging again. Reset the adaptaions, same thing. Now its progressed into a small misfire. I just replaced the coil and plug wires(nology and ngk from new bonneville), reset adaptations again and the miss has moved to 2k-2500rpms. A fast blip of the throttle also makes it miss for a split second.
I have checked and cleaned the plugs. They were fine, maybe a little lean but not bad. Tps is at .6 at idle and throttle bodies are both running at 350 at idle. No air leaks that I can find. The bike will pull through the misfire with heavy or full throttle and runs fine if not in that rpm range. Any ideas?
