Well, you'd think that after living in New England for nearly 70 years, that I'd have known better that to leave my waterproof overpants in the garage last Sunday morning, but, I trusted the sunshine, fool that I am! Anyway, long story short, I got caught in a fairly decent bit of rain and was pleasantly(?) surprised to find that the Plexi GT did a very good job of keeping the rain off my upper body; just a few drops on my arms and faceshield. Basically, from my the tops of my knees on up it was very efficient. Needless to say, from the knees down it was a different story, but that's what "waterproofs" are for. I'm going to see if I can extend it a bit with some aftermarket "lowers" and maybe try to get a set of covers made for the Hepco Becker bars, although that might be a challenge as they fit tight to the exhaust. I've got a good upholstery shop in my area and if anyone can do the job, they can. So, I'm giving a big "2 thumbs up" to the National product just in case anyone has wondered how it works.

Well, Carl, you know that us New Englanders tend to melt in the rain, don't you? All that I can say about you native Floridians is to quote Rudyard Kipling: "....you're a better man than I am, Gunga Din"! I've got another meet this Sunday and thunder storms are predicted...........you can bet that the "waterproofs" will be with me this time!!! Ride Safe, my friend: Jim
