My wife and her parents came to Australia from The Isle Of Man and she still has family living on The Island. This photo is printed in a glossy tourist promotion for The Island with a little story about "Ago's Leap".
My mother-in-law's sister sent it to us with her hand writing saying "Photo of dad taken about 1968". We just looked at each other and both knew it's a photo of Ago, it took a long time to figure out she is talking about the marshal in white coat on the side of the track.
