I recently changed my bike from a Rocket 3 GT to a new Scrambler.
On both bikes I paid for the connectivity module mainly for the Navigation as I could already link my iphone to my Cardo headset for phone and music.
On buying both bikes I have had teething problems getting my iPhone to fully connect to the Navigation side of the app, it needs two bluetooth connections. If you have a Samsung phone I believe it is a lot easier.
Anyway, after persevering I have manage to get the the Scrambler to connect properly and I believe the bike/module needed a MANUAL download of the latest software, not the automatic download that is usual!
So, if you have the problem don’t give up! There are a few tips and tricks that are also useful and I agree that it shouldn’t be that difficult but it is quite a useful system with turn by turn guidance and you can still have music and phone, especially if you don’t want a full Satnav or your phone on a handlebar bracket.
Happy riding!
