For me I always found that Cat Stevens had a sound that has never been equaled and this must be one of his all time best videos

Always love and still do, Cat Stevens. I was chatting to a school-years friend the other day - we always chat but haven't actually seen each other for 30+ years - the nicest thing he said to me was "And I'll always remember you like a child girl" - if only he could see me now!

Love Pink Floyd too. From waaay back, Santana, Rare Earth, the Doobie Bros, the Eagles, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Rodriguez and the list is tooooooooo long!

It's all about the music Carl :y2:

Another one I like is this one but I don't much like the rest of his stuff

I suppose when it comes to Bob Seger you can give me any one of his

I suppose if I hate to choose just one of his it would be this one

the first 45 I ever owned,
thrashed to death on an old HMV with a ceramic needle and a leadhead nail taped to the rear of the tonearm as a counterweight

The first 45 I bought and still about my favorite...

I love comparing original versions of songs with updated covers of the same song. Although I might like the newer cover versions, I'm of the mind that the original is always the best because the original artist had the idea in the first place.

For example.....Open My Eyes by Nazz circa 1968:

The Bangles about 30 years later:
