I haven't been physically/mentally well the the last few years so the bike has been sitting in a remote garage since 2016-17.
It wasn't properly prepped for storage. I can't do much work on it myself, so I found a bike shop that's been in business since the 1970's. They claim to work on "them all" but it's mostly a HD looking kind of shop.
The closest Triumph dealer is no longer a dealer for Triumphs (lost the HD affiliation too) They had done all my maintenance on it ever since I bought if in 2005 off Ebay. The big dealership (FOX Motors in Grand Rapids) told me its too old- that they don't have time to work on old bikes) Geez!
Anyway, it was in great condition when it was left in the garage back in 2017. After sitting all this time besides the obvious oil/battery what should I be having done or looked at... The tires look good yet---- but being that old (2005) do I have to replace them??? Ugh! I am afraid its going to cost me more in updates than what the bike is valued at- what ever that number might be...
Just rambling here I know. What you guys think about all this?

Thank you!!! Joe

The tires are 18 years old; the fact that they haven't been in the elements for 5 years is to your advantage. But...yes, you should replace them, after you get the bike running. Ten years puts tires in the OLD category.
