In a couple of other threads my "eclectic art collection" :y2: was discussed and I mentioned that I also have some enlarged and framed photos from my travels.
In this pic the upper photo is one I took in the Rocky Mountains in 2010 and is so typical of the area with the snow capped mountains, emerald lakes and evergreens.
In the other photo, my camera was used to shoot my buddy Carl and I (red jacket) standing by the marker for the Tropic of Capricorn in the Atacama Desert in northern Chile.
I see these pics every day and they bring back great memories.

While I'm at it, these are a couple of pics that also bring back fond memories.
The lower photo is of Flatts's Inlet in Bermuda taken several years ago. The other is closer to home and is the "world famous Cabot Trail" here in Nova Scotia - and a place I plan to ride this summer at least once.
At the drop of a hat I like to suddenly take off for the Trail - which is a five hour ride just to get there. If I can't get anyone to come with me on short notice, I don't mind going alone. In fact, most of my rides there have been alone; stop and go when you want; go where you want, etc.

Outstanding!
What sort of camera do you use?
I like Canon cameras. Nothing too fancy; just a point and shoot type, but Canon make great lenses.
The one I have now was purchased in 2008 and is a Canon Powershot SD850 IS (Image Stabilization).
It's small and easy to carry and also takes decent video too.
Many times I considered getting a larger SLR camera, but the weight and bulk isn't as convenient as a pocket camera - especially on a bike.

I would LOVE to ride the Cabot Trail someday.

And Bermuda may be my favorite place on Earth!!! Gotta love all the suped-up scooters the young people ride there.
I love Bermuda too. We always intended to go back, but my wife's health makes air travel so difficult now that I doubt we will ever go again. That's too bad as Air Canada has direct flights from Halifax.

I envy you Rocky.....I've never traveled, but I'd give my left....well, left anything to have seen the places you have !
Travel certainly isn't cheap by any means, so it's out of the reach of many people which is quite understandable.
I had a bucket list of things to see and do and I did most of them. The only thing left on the list that matters is the Grand Canyon.
There were plans in the works for me and a couple of other guys to fly to Las Vegas in May, and also see the Canyon, but that fell through CRY
