My Son just forwarded me the following email....

Dear Ian,

I would like to invite you to be a CERL Graduate Student Associate (GSA) for the 2011-2012 academic year. You will receive a research account of $8000 to be used for approved academic expenses. Money can be used for conference travel, to acquire materials or data necessary to conduct your research, or to pay research assistants. Research assistants must be paid the hourly rate approved by the law school. Please consult with K*** H**** before appointing a research assistant, and consult with me if you have questions about the appropriateness of research expenses.

I look forward to your contributions to the CERL intellectual community, and hope you have a terrific academic year.
