Just got back from the Annual Moncton Bike Show. Of course had to check out the newest Triumphs. Renewed my subscription to a Canadian bike mag called Motorcycle Mojo and chatted with one of the editors(Glenn Roberts) that does the bike show circuit trying to get new people to subscribe and just generally take in the shows. Great guy and turns out he had a long term Triumph Tiger XC as a tester last year and liked it so much he bought it at the end of the test. That's a sound testament to Triumph's performance and quality.

The show is usually 3 days(Friday-Sunday), but just like last year it will probably be closed/cancelled tomorrow due to the SNOWPOCALYPSE that's starting here already.

She that must be obeyed came along(It was Valetine's Day afterall), and we had a supper out and went to the show after.

Sorry no pix as the one's on her cell phone were terrible

Glad you had a good day before the storm hit.
The snow was coming down when I got up this morning so it's not going to be a fun day.
I've never been to the Moncton show mainly due to poor traveling conditions this time of year.
There will be a show in Halifax in late March and our vintage bike club will have a display.

If you can't laugh at it you'll go loony before long. Glad to be of service in your personal amusement. (y)
C'mon over and I'll introduce you to SNOW shoeing, SNOW shovelling, SNOW blowing, SNOW mobiling.....................................................the list goes on.

That's where we're going to be. I apologize for sending you the wrong event details. Good catch TUP
Our display may not be as good this year because of all the frozen snow which will make it hard to get bikes out.
Time will tell.
Here are a few shots from last year.

Down in Halifax area will get lots of rain in March like they always do and melt all that nasty white C#@P for ya.
Don't think I'll be able to make it down that weekend.
That set up looks way better than any display they had at the Moncton show.

That 750 Kawi in the top pic was one of those dubbed the "widowmakers" wasn't it?
Yes it is. Those were wicked bikes to ride.

That BSA was built to go for a speed record (for the engine size) at Loring Air Force Base in Northern Maine.
The owner went there last year, but couldn't pass the tech inspection I think it was.
He'll be going back again this year and I may be going along.
I think the record for the class is something like 80 - 90 mph.
