Looking at old photos of Rocky, I think he was a rocker too......or just a Marlin Brando lookalike???

You knows what's weird?

Rockers rode motorcycles, Mods rode scooters.

But a few years back when Triumph introduced those bikes by Paul Smith (?), they were all done up in Mod Style motifs. What the heck's up with that?

I was not at all impressed with the Paul Smith motif. I flat did not like them.

It was strange that PS went for the look he did really out of character for Triumph I thought. I enjoyed watching the old media coverage of this very cool

Naaaa, I was born to be mild
But these days when I ride my old bikes I dress up a la Marlon Brando with the rolled up jeans, engineers boots and a zipper jacket.
It's important to ride, but it's also important to loook the part too

As for the Paul Smith stuff - I agree. It doesn't appeal to me at all.

As far as the Paul Smith stuff goes.....

I liked the one model with the Union Jack done in different pastel colors on the tank.

Honestly, I don't have any of myself. I seem to be taking all the pics and am rarely in any, but if you look at pic 155 (I believe) of the recent DVD there's one of me in a side view telling the gathering to saddle up. That's about it.
