It was a different world, I was there. By definition, slightly too old to be a baby boomer. Born in 1945. Grew up in Southern California. Fortunately, I am still breathing and can remember all that.

I was pretty much a "party animal" in the early '60's. So.Cal party night life was rockn'rolln. Beach scene was great both night and day in the summer before the war started taking the fun out of life by the mid-60's ...J.D.

Tried satellite radio. I listen to 50s, 60s and 70s mainly in my truck.

I have Sirius radio and mostly listen to "golden oldies" too.

I always enjoy seeing videos like this as it really highlights how we have changed in these short space of time.

Just think in another 50 years a similar video of today's time will be out and they will be thinking the same or saying "shame those poor backward people"

When my mother passed away a few years ago at age 98, I commented that she had lived most of modern history and had witnessed technology advancing at such a rapid rate.
Now that I'm 83 I guess some of that applies to me too

Memories Here is a cool one I have from High School ( 59 years ago) Yikes! At noon lunch time we would all go out to our cars or motorcycles and drive around the school showing off our rides and impressing the girls. My buddy had a Ariel Sq 4 with megaphones. When he started it it would give me the chills,was so cool!!. When you get a chance on the computer bring that bike up and see what they are worth today.. In my mind ,one of the coolest bikes ever
