There's nothing better then going
on a slow solitude ride on Memorial Day !
Remembering those who have fought ,
be it died or just served .
Reminiscing about your Dads old war stories
and some of your own .
Cruising along looking @ old glory , flying
at everyone's home and the smell of back
yard Bar B Q 's drifting in the air to wake up
your senses !
My self I even think about all the soldiers
from times gone by from Romans to the Civil war
that honored their country & the hardships they
endured .
The flowers blooming , the ride , family friends
and just the general condition of the country
we live in .
Having served & traveled , I've seen some of them
and their condition .
To have the freedom to enjoy it , is priceless !

Whether it be helping our alias or protecting
our own .
Nothing is more important then fighting for it .
To all the vets past & present :y18:

Hear! Hear!

I rode over to the Florida National Cemetery for an honor service there. It is a ride through back country roads and the beauty and all of the head stones at the cemetery are humbling and sobering.

A big thank you and a heartfelt salute to all of those who gave their all in the service of their countries.
