Scrambler
Me, and 3 mates are going touring Scotland in June.
So as it was peeing down today I decided to try my luggage set up on the bike.
Last year I used saddle bags and found them a pain in the a**se to keep taking on and off.
So I got a Renntec Rack from Fleabay for £45,

and a quick release top box from chinesemotorcycles.com for £17,

The next step was to fit the scrambler seat and rack. This is where it all went pear shaped! The scram seat and rack will not fit with a Renntec rack! There is not enough room to get the seat back far enough to hook it on the frame!

It fits without the rack,

But the plastic cover fouls on the rails of the rack!
So I had to cut 1/4" off the plastic cover,

So after a bit of head scratching, and some info I read on ADV Riders, I came up with a plan!
Take one chopping board,

4 spare indicator mountings,

Cut the threads off the mountings,

Add a couple of stiffeners,

And ended up with this,

The seat can be taken on and off easily now,

Added some fixing eyes to attach the bungees to,

Givi Tailpack fitted,

Completed job with rain cover and cargo net over the top.

I think it has been a successful day messing about in the garage!:y2:

Well, I'll be d*mn*d!!!!!!!!!
What an ingenious modTUPTUP
Renntec makes a good product and at one point I considered the rack, but decided on more traditional saddle bags.
I have a pair of Renntec crash bars on my H***a and they fit perfectly.
