Theres another thread i posted a year ago proclaiming mothers spray wax as actually being a great 1 step clean and shine for the entire bike. Now i feel foolish for posting that after using this LP stuff today. But whats funny is i've had this stuff for over a year and thought it was worthless ! The place i always buy maxima SC1 silicone detailer was out and recommended this stuff. I tried it on the satin black engine parts which is what i buy SC1 for and thought the SC1 was better. And i still think it may be. But what i didn't realize until i tried it for the first time today is that this stuff is genius on everything else. On the can it says painted surfaces and chrome, and man o man does it ever work. Especially on chrome. My mothers chrome polish will now gather dust, or maybe just go in the trash. this is one of those products that unlike many just evaporates quicky as you wipe the bulk of it off leaving a totally smudge and streak free finish that gleams like a mirror. The great thing about it is it works on everything including the paint and leaves that nice too, so it truly is one step and with no compromise. Tho the chrome is where it's really fantastic. So you can clean the entire bike with this stuff and nothing else and when you're done you don't have to worry about waxing anything or putting any further protective products on. And the fact that it leaves no smudging and streaks is such a huge bonus and makes cleaning so much faster. The chrome really seems to shine like with nothing else. Maybe i'm just imagining it, but i swear it seems to make regular chrome look like show chrome.

So i'm wondering, does anyone else use this and what did you think? I have always heard about how great that honda stuff was for years. i think if i'm not mistaken it was called S100. Anyways, when i bought this stuff the guy told me thats what it is, and that honda no longer makes it so now you can get the same stuff under the liquid performance label. So when i tried it on the black satin parts and it didn't seem like anything special i wrote it off and was stumped as to why all these great reviews of the honda cleaner. Well, now i get it. This stuff is perfect as your #1 go to product for one step cleaning at it's best.

The 2 things about it that make it so great are that it works great on every single part of the bike thats metal or finished, and that it wipes off so fast and streak/smudge free. It makes cleaning the bike faster than any method i've used and the results are as good as anything and better than many. The best on chrome, which with the Tbird is a serious benefit ! I have a shelf that's full of products, but i could actually toss them all and replace with a single can of this stuff. The only other thing i would keep would be a can of good wax for the tank fenders and side covers to use every few months and use LP on them between waxings. It's great not to have 2-3 different products i have to switch between while cleaning and not having to need 2-3 different towels, one for each product.

Is this the stuff

yes, it's the can on the right in that pic. i can't recall what i paid but it seems to go for $6-8 USD online depending on where you get it. I think i paid 6 or 7 bucks, but as i read in a review, it lasts a long time.

Yesterday went for a long ride so when i got home i went over the bike with just LP, and this morning in a certain light it was more apparent that other times just how good it works. The bike just had a glow to it nothing else i've used on it gave it. Every now and then you find a product which works so well you can actually see a difference, but that doesn't happen often. So i'm very happy with this stuff. More time for riding is always good!

Gareth, some browsers or their add ons block webbike world for some reason. And several ad blocker and trojan blocker software block it. I do not know why. Adaware blocks it.

It's odd tho because on this forum for some reason i CAN see images some times and others i can't. In this thread i also saw nothing like avion, but then i refreshed or went to another page then back to this one and then i COULD see it.

if you give it a try let us know how you like it. I clean my bike almost daily, and i haven't used anything else so far. I usually have 3 different products and sometimes 4. Now i just use this one. It really is w/o a doubt the best chemical of any kind so far for the bike. So please report on what you think.

This just happened yesterday. The guy next door to me has money, and therefore real nice cars. high end Beemer, lexus, and a caddy 4WD. The wheels he has are chrome aftermarket. he also has a cabinet full of detailing products that looks like he could open a auto parts store.

Thats said, i lent him the LP and told him it makes my bike just glow, especially the chrom, so give it a try. Today he was out front and i aske dif he tried it. His first words were "i just ordered 3 cans". :ya2: anyways, he showed me the wheels and i kid you not, the were amazing. as much as it surprised me how it did on my bike's chrome, his wheels looked incredible. I've never seen chrome look that incredible. No wonder he was sold ! seriously, this stuff is the best thing i have ever found as detailing products go. I have around 25-30 products in my garage. I could and in fact will do away with all of them and replace them all with this ! Well, i'll still need polishes to remove swirl marks from paint and aluminum, but nothing else is really necassary.
