Just got back from a run around the wolds. It was a bit chilly, but it was a great turn out. The £7.00 entry for the run went to the Lincolnshire and Nottingham Air Ambulance Service.
The run itself lasted about 1 and a half hours, and we stopped at a pub in the wolds for a cup of tea and a bacon butty. The Lincolnshire Aviation Centre hosted the event, there was also a large model flying club event as well. But the crowning event was the fly past by the RAF's Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Lancaster, that was on its way back to RAF Coningsby, from Rotterdam in Holland, where it was commemorating Operation Manor, Bomber Commands Food drop to the Dutch people 70 years ago
