Well, maybe not the absolute last one for me, but it is the end of our bike club events schedule. What we may do over the next few weeks all depends on the weather.
18 bikes showed up under cloudy and threatening skies. It rained hard all night and it was 50/50 if we would get the ride in, but the forecast was for clearing.
For once, the forecast was right :y2:
Since it's cooler along the coast we took an inland route which isn't very scenic, but has lots of twisty and smooth roads.
The sun popped out around 2:00 PM, the roads dried and the temp hit 20C (68F) - a perfect day for a ride as it turned out. I rode my T100 and it performed like the champ it is.
We retraced our route and stopped for lunch at a pub named Curly's which is a popular biker eatery.
These are a couple of pics at a rest stop:

As always it looks like a great time was had by all. Thanks for taking us along.
Your weather was similar to ours. We are at 75 and LOW humidity (finally) ......we are supposed to get in the mid to low 50's tonight :y13: I'm gonna need a sweater lol.

I got out today as well. Nothing as exciting as that. Looks like a lot of fun. I hope to ride for a few more weeks before Bonnie gets put to bed for her long winter's nap.

Good ride, Rocky. I got in a short, but good ride today. Our low was 58 F this morning and a high of 82 F - plus low humidity. However, today is Mothers Day in Argentina and my Argentine mother-in-law is visiting with us... So you can guess how I spent most of my day.

Thanks for the laugh Carl :y15:
The day turned out better than expected at first and we had lots of fun. The ride wasn't all that long, 176 km's (110 miles), but it was on country backroads through heavy forests and some open farm land on nice roads. Not very scenic for photos, but the roads were great with no traffic!
Yes, our vintage bike club has some very nice old bikes that are well maintained and cared for, and run as if they were new. Problems and breakdowns are almost unheard of.
As I always say, "The joy is in the ridin', not the fixin' by the side of the road" :y2:
