Greetings from rural Kentucky, some 45 minutes south of Paducah. We have a neat small town feel with 2 craft breweries and alongside the Ohio river.
Just picked up a used 2013 Bonneville 2 tone, purple/white for $6,000 even. Bike only has 800+ on odometer. This will be my 2nd Bonnie, and my 51st bike overall. Needed to return to a simple, smooth-running, all-round bike, easy to handle now I'm 72 yrs in the saddle.

Thanks for greetings from across the pond ..... I'm originally from there (Staffordshire) some 43 yrs back. This site appears easier to use than Triumph Rat which drives me nuts. On the Bonnie I bought I'll see hoe she rides before any mods are made.
Not interested in anymore power, just comfort additions ..... seat comfort, maybe bar risers, probably a windshield, and of course luggage availability. I've made a few cross-country rides, always taking time along the back-roads.

Wow that's a fair few years ago now, have you been back of late, I think that you'd notice a big difference from when you first made the move. When you do get your Bonnie how you want it, it would be great to see some pictures of her, and also some great pictures of your rides around the area that you live. I love seeing other peoples pictures of their ride outs or holidays.
As for the Triumph Rat forum, I'll have to take your word on that, as I'm not on that one, I'm more than happy on this one and see no need to go anywhere else.
Looking forward to some great pictures and stories. BBEER

Any ideas on a windshield? So many out there. I do not like "buffeting" from wind.
That's the problem, so many choices.
There is no one-size-fits-all. What works well for one may not work for another and much depends on how tall you are and how you sit on the bike.
I first bought the Triumph summer screen and put up with it for several years. It was a good screen, but created a huge amount of helmet buffeting at highway speeds.
A few years ago I opted for a Givi fly screen which gives a surprisingly amount of protection for such a small screen.

You may end up buying more than one screen until you find one that works for you, then sell the one(s) that don't work for you.
Sorry that I don't have a better picture of the Givi ion my bike.

On windshields I have had great luck on triumph's windsheilds (1996 thunderbird, 2014 thunderbird LT. but I am 6ft. more upper body than leg. Good luck
