I guess so, as he told me, "no computer yet". I'll be giving him a call, soon, as it looks like my Florida visit next Feb-April is beginning to look very shaky. Elderly relatives may put the "kibosh" on my plans. Time will tell: Jim

I had contact with him.....a....gosh been a couple months ago.... before Daytona Bike Week---went by his house..had lunch.
Said he would be around more----but----havent heard from him since honestly.

I spoke with him last weekend, to wish him a belated "happy birthday"; I was a week late as a good friend of mine passed away unexpectedly and that occupied my thoughts; he was 85 but seemed in decent health....you never know. I thought that Carl would be back online by now, as I believe he's got a computer, but he was going to the VA again about the right eye.....still giving him grief and they will probably be draining it and refilling it with some type of oil again, as the eye still isn't making enough fluid pressure on its own yet. He's fine otherwise and I'll be calling him again and get some updates. He's still riding and that good stuff..............
Jim

Shane, I can't wait to tell him that you called him and "old fart"..........! Then again, he and I are the same age, basically, so I guess I can say: "I resemble that remark!!"
"Village Idiots" don't grow old, we just fall apart gracefully, bit by bit: Jim

Hello, all: Had a quick "speak" with Carl this morning and he says that he can see his fingers, albeit a bit fuzzy, with his arm extended. They may have to put a bit more oil in they eye to increase the pressure, but time will tell for that. He's back on the old "no heavy lifting and no bending over too far for a couple of weeks. He says that he's coming back to us, just as soon as he gets the computer "sorted".
Jim
