eya gang!

just got my 'where ya been?' email. things ticking on pretty good here at chaos castle. we're having a very good summer, the cherry trees had a load of nice fruit, the apple trees are coming along nice as well and that means this is a year for the out side stuff, painting and gardening lately.

my diabetes is still kicking my butt, and i'm down to about four hours of my normal rate before i stumble into the house.

my ISP and computers have all decided to go wonky lately so i'm having some troubles and slowly resolving them.

Bgurl loved the post about the old gal and her half million mile ford, she herself has her old 68 mustang up over 250,000 but with major rebuilds.

i'm slowly accumulating parts for my triumphs, one ring set away from a runner 72 500 build, a set of pistons away from my 72 TR6 build, my other two 500's are getting machined and are still hurting for parts, and i now have a 49/50 Thunderbird running gear on the way up here from San Francisco.

several of my Honda SOHC's are nearly ready for the pavement so i might get some miles on two wheels in this summer yet!

i am getting in some model plane building and pumping out some jade and turquoise jewelry so even when i'm sitting on my butt i'm keeping myself entertained.

theres the big british camp out and show coming up on Vancouver Island on the 14th to 16th of August.

Camping at the First nations campground at Qualicum Bay BC, and the BritishCar and Bike show is at the Filberg Gardens in Comox BC (nearby). Nice scenery and a good group of old brit riders and restorers.

love y'all

But it beats the alternative! :y14:

Good to hear from you. Sorry the diabetes is kicking you. That is a nasty disease. That is some good progress on the bikes. I hope you will be riding very soon. Keep us posted.

Hey SJ, sounds like you may be in the Great Pacific Northwest. What you say is going on there is going on here, but the cherries are off here. We still have pears and apples to come off. Not mine mind you, but all around me.
