Just back from Naples. A country full of good design. So fitting I've just got some Italian motorcycle boots.
Those aren't my legs.
Here one of my actual boots, brown version.
Got them because they are leather lined, not padded out with artificial waterproof material, foot protection, etc. My feet got uncomfortably hot in recent hot weather.
Also wanted something to walk around a town in if I rode there. My bike boots have a solid shank for kickstarting and protection, not good for walking.
Just walked a mile in the Jimmy Choos, don't slip around too much. Soles aren't solid but flexible, but substantial nevertheless.
No patch on top for gear changing. But has a weird burnished finish, so a bit more scuffing won't matter.
No armour, but leg is shearling lined, so padded.
Bit like a Harley cruiser boot, but stylish.
