They are an absolutely amazing people and I take my hat off to them.

If this had of happened in a few other countries they would still be busy looting and it would never get sorted out.

The sheer will of the Japanese people to get on with the job is to be admired.

It sure is and shows how they have become a world player. I cannot think of any other nation that would be able to achieve what they have in such a short time.

Japan has been amazing and not once have I seen the proverbial begging-bowl being held out. I know nations have offered help and Japan accepted, but Japan haven't gone the Haiti route..........................

Yes and where is Haiti now, I don't think they have recovered even with all the outside help
