It was a holiday long weekend for us last weekend so a bunch of my rowdy friends and I took an overnight ride around the western end of the province.
Another beautiful weekend coming up tomorrow so we're taking a day trip on Saturday to the northern area of the province and a breakfast ride locally on Sunday.

Rocky you must enjoy the trip. I would have loved to have been able to do a biking trip this weekend but just too many things to do at home that I never seem to get to do

Enjoy that ride, Rocky.

I am going to ride to Jacksonville on Sunday. A friend a fellow Patriot Guard Rider had a major heart attack and open heart surgery. And he is only 38. He developed heart trouble about ten years ago which ended his career in the USMC.

Hope you are going to win it, what bike will you be riding

Thanks guys,I'm using Triumph S.A.'s demo speedy. Only worry is that it's only done 1600km. I'll try to put a few more on and loosen it up a bit.
Won the cruiser class last year so I'm hoping for a repeat.

Gave it a bit of a run this morning and seem to be getting the same sort of consumtion as last year,so far so good............

We hopped a plane down to the coast - Garden Route. FREEZING! 8 seasons in a day - howling winds, rain, sun, howling winds and so it went. But............................ watched the whales coming into harbour; only 2 whales though; season just starting. We were also really thrilled to have huge pods of dolphin go by about 50m off shore. Such magnificent creatures. :y114:

And another long weekend coming up in September - woohoo! Off to the bush - can't wait. Best time of year to go to the bush. Hope to get some perfect shots. Farside's itching to try out his new camera and lenses.......
