It Was 1975 and the time of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show"

When this movie was first release my side it was banned for many years. This did not however stop all the pirate VHS tapes making there round. Some had been copied so many times the quality was shocking.

After a number of years I think it was in the early 80's it was eventually unbanned and we all made our way to the movies to watch it on the big screen. Over the years number of plays came out and did there rounds and I went to a few of them. I see right now it is out once again as a play but unfortunately not coming to a city near me.

So this is really one of those cult movies you either love it or hate it, so who else is an avid follower of this one.

I think if you did see it you would remember either hating it or loving it.

I remember friends that regularly went to midnight viewings of the film, and played along and sang along with the events on the screen. I had no interest in it, and still haven't seen the film to this day. I don't feel I've missed out on anything. I did not try to downplay their interest in the film, however.

The live show with Reg Livermore was better than the movie, saw that in the 70's when still at school I think. The movie is OK but the vocals are a bit weak at times.
