Please do a write-up here when you complete it. May I suggest you do not start too early. You need to start after a good nights sleep, I would not start before sunrise. If you want to knock it out quickly stop only for gas and a quick bathroom break until the 1/2 way point. The eat a power snack, hydrate and lay on you back for at least 20 mins. After that you can finish it off the same way. You will hit a wall around the 3/4 point, but then the psychological excitement of completing the ride kicks in. I also find a long solo run like this is good for the soul. You have a lot of time to do some thinking.

ENJOY.

The Trophy is in the process of being converted to a Trident,I just don't like the look of that fairing.
I was thinking about the Bonnie, why make things easy?
Ideal thing would be to try to borrow Triumph S.A.'s demo Sprint GT,tell them I need to test it for the Economy Run.
I know it sounds dismissive, but we used to think nothing of doing Joburg-Cape Town in one day, thats close to a thousand miles, but we were younger then!
