Hey guys and gals. I have been researching info on my 1982 TSS and I came across this forum and found lots of helpful info here. Thanks for posting! I must add that this is my first british bike and it is a total basket case. It went through a house fire and in it's current condition most people would've scrapped it. A friend of mine who collects and restores british bikes sold it to me a few years ago and I have since taken it apart and had the frame cleaned up and powder coated. I am now preparing to do the engine work. I have the engine almost completely disassembled and am happy to say that it looks great inside. There's a few problems which I hope to discuss here with you fine folks. Anyway, here is a pic of the poor old thing as she was when I bought her.

I hope that you'll enjoy it here.
You're certainly up for a challenge, I think that you're correct when you said " and in it's current condition most people would've scrapped it ".
Good luck with it and it will be great to see this restored. TUP
